Recently I went to Dar es Salaam Tanzania exploring opportunities within the country. I asked a question to one of my local partners on reforms under the current president. His answer demonstrated maturity and the reason of political stability in this country.

He said: ” Our former president we used to call him, the bulldozer. He sets up a path for investors, Mama Samia is completing what has been done as a Mama.” The current president of Tanzania, H.E Samia Suluhu Hassan known as Mama Samia became the country’s first female president on 19 March 2021 after the death of President John Magufuli.

She was deputy to her predecessor, a Muslim with roots growing up in Zanzibar. Her swearing-in is a perfect example of political stability in Tanzania.
